SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

The Faculty has a highly organized scientific research system. It continuously stimulates and secures the required conditions, follows and checks scientific research results and incorporates them into the teaching process. Our scientific research is carried out as an organizational part of Megatrend University Scientific Research. All members of academic staff, all Faculty associates and all teachers engaged in projects financed by other scientific research institutions are included in this process.

The Faculty permanently takes into consideration , prepares and implements scientific research programmes, national and international projects and all that in cooperation with the University and/or its other institutions. Our Faculty professors are also engaged in other scientific research projects within other institutions of the University.

The Faculty organizes scientific research cooperation with some economic and other related organizations on its own or in cooperation with other Megatrend University Faculties. Contents and results of Faculty’s scientific research activities are in compliance with the strategic objectives of the Faculty , University , with national and European objectives  and higher education standards, which is obvious from previously mentioned results.

The knowledge gained by these scientific research activities at our Faculty is actively included into our teaching process. Each professor and associate is in obligation to apply the acquired knowledge and results of their scientific research to the educational process and to include these results into all forms of active teaching, into every textbook and other literature which is updated every three years. The teaching process of every course is updated in accordance with the scientific research achievements.

The Faculty stimulates its employees to do active scientific research and to publish the research findings more frequently. Megatrend University has been organizing International Scientific Conference for 5 years and  it publishes  ‘Megatrend Review’, an applied economics magazine. This is only one of many ways Megatrend University uses to contribute to scientific development and to improve scientific competencies of our academic staff at all our institutions including this Faculty.

Scientific research of the Faculty is carried out and organized in accordance with the law requirements and general University Act: Scientific research – rules and regulations.
